For merchants

The middleman's margin, back on your P&L.

Protection your store sells, not a fee it pays. Every premium collected at your checkout stays yours — Covr runs the tracking, claims, and accounting.

  • The premium is yours

Shoppers pay it at your checkout and it stays in your account. You're invoiced weekly for the premiums you collected — nothing else comes out of it.

  • Claims without the inbox

Approvals, resends, refunds, and shopper updates run through Covr — not your support queue.

  • A ledger your accountant can read

Premiums, remittances, and claim costs post to one ledger, with loss ratio computed per store.

Instant claims

Shoppers file in the portal; you see it in the queue the same second.

Resend-first resolution

The default outcome keeps the sale and the customer. Refund stays one click away.

USPS-grade tracking

Every scan, every exception, every stall — streamed into one timeline.

Premium economics

You collect the premium at checkout. No middleman skimming the spread.

Accounting built in

Receivables, remittances, and loss ratio computed continuously per store.

Drop-in checkout widget

One webhook and one snippet. Shopify and Medusa supported out of the box.

Switching from Route

On Route today? Repoint one base URL.

The checkout widget mounts in the container you already have, and webhooks carry Route-style signature headers alongside Covr's own — your existing verification keeps passing.

The Covr promise

We resend first. Refunds when you'd rather have the money.

Default resolution: we resend the order in one click — resolved in hours, not weeks.

FAQ

The fine print, in plain language.

What does protection cost?

A small percentage of the order subtotal — typically 1.5–2.5% with a minimum around $0.98. The shopper pays it at checkout; the merchant keeps the premium.

Who pays claims?

Covr does, out of its own premium pool — not an insurance middleman, which is why there's no markup and no adjuster in the loop. If you make a customer whole yourself, Covr pays you back the full order value on a weekly claims statement; it is never deducted from your premium invoice.

What can shoppers claim for?

Packages lost in transit, stolen after delivery, or damaged on arrival. A claim starts from the tracking page and needs nothing more than the order email.

How fast are claims?

Hours, not weeks. Resends ship the same day they're approved; refunds land back on the original payment method.

Do refunds include the premium?

Refunds include the full order subtotal, and the protection premium is never charged back to the shopper on an approved claim.

How do merchants integrate?

One order webhook plus a checkout snippet — Shopify and Medusa work out of the box. Already on Route? Repoint your base URL to api.covrprotection.com and keep the rest.

Ship the next one protected.

Merchants go live in an afternoon. Shoppers need nothing but their order email.
